Radio Has Gone Soft. It's Time To Change.

Radio Has Gone Soft. It's Time To Change.

Katz Radio President Mark Gray sounds like a bulldog ready for a fight. Radio should be happy he's in our corner. Gray spends a lot of time with some of our biggest clients and some of what he hears he doesn't like and he plans to change. Yesterday Katz announced Gray will be taking on new responsibilities in his current position. The announcement included three lines of fancy press-release lingo but after talking to Gray you could easily say his new job is radio's biggest cheerleader and promoter. Job number one. Change the way we promote ourselves.

Sort of. An announcement from yesterday will have a traditional radio sales company and an Internet radio company working together to try to make this concept a true business model.
