With over 28 years of radio sales and management experience, DeFazio has spent the majority of his radio career in Tampa. Three years after beginning his career in radio as an account executive with Clear Channel in Jacksonville, Fla., he transferred to Clear Channel in Tampa and shortly after, was promoted to sales manager. In November 2010 after 26 years with Clear Channel and a year with Genesis Communications in Tampa as the vice president and market Manager, DeFazio joined CMG Tampa as a senior account manager with hopes to move into management when a position became available.
