Radical.FM (radical.fm) has opened its on-demand streaming music service Radial Indie to independent musicians and bands so they can upload their music and related materials into the Radical Indie player in preparation for its introduction. When launched Radical Indie will be a free Internet radio service for musicians, their fans, and anyone who enjoys fresh music from unsigned artists, without limitations. The player will also include the ability to RadCast? music streams in real time to any number of listeners. RadCast makes every musician the owner of a broadcast radio station, complete with independent content. Musicians will be able to have their fans listen to their music stream in real time.
In addition, DeeJay? will allow musicians to host their own programs and speak directly to all who are listening to their RadCasts. The DeeJay function allows hosts to speak live to their audience, where they can discuss not only their music, but also conduct interviews and promote tours.
