Scott Hanley starts in his new post as GM at the University of Alabama's noncomm WBHM at the end of the month. Hanley, a former member of the NPR board, arrives from the post of executive director at the Greater Uniontown Heritage Consortium; before that, he spent 16 years as GM of Duquesne University's WDUQ-FM/Pittsburgh.
UAB Asst. VP/Public Relations & Marketing Kristi Lamont Ellis said, "We are delighted to be welcoming Scott Hanley to his new home in Birmingham and at WBHM. Ellis has been serving as WBHM's interim GM since October 2011.
