CBS market Manager Steve Carver will be moving back east to take over the CBS Tampa cluster. According to a company memo from CBS' Scott Herman, Carver approached the company about his desire to move east to be closer to his family, including two new grandchildren. Herman said, "This move allows Ben to move on knowing he delivered not only on his promise of service to CBS RADIO, but on his commitment to lead yet another market to ratings and revenue growth. Ben will continue in his current role and Steve in his during transitions that will occur over the coming weeks."
Steve Carver was Vice President and General Manager of CBS RADIO?s WBBM-AM in Chicago (1993-1998); WOGL in Philadelphia (1989-93); and also served as General Sales Manager of WCBS-FM in New York.
