This week, WZRV-FM in Front Royal, Virginia, hosted its "Throw Hunger Under the Bus" promotion. The campaign raises money, collects food, and provides vital information about hunger to the community. Station personnel broadcast live and sleep on a school bus parked at a shopping center. Listeners donate food for the local food pantries. Royal Broadcasting President Andrew Shearer tells Radio Ink 30,000 pounds of non-perishable food and $3,000 was collected. Congratulate him and his team on a job well done HERE
