December Revenue Up 6.3% In Los Angeles

The Southern California Broadcasters Association says revenue in the number-two market was up over 6% compared to December of 2012 (according to Miller Kaplan Arase). Local and national spots combined were up 3.6%, digital posted a 20.7% gain, and NTR/Network was up 19.6%. For the 12 months, ending December 2013, total market revenue growth was 1%. SCBA President Thom Callahan said, ?December was a great month for our region, as we were finally out from under the political comps from 2012 and the market flexed its true revenue muscles as only Southern California radio can.?
