by Jason Lipshutz, N.Y.  |   June 02, 2011 2:15 EDT

Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter IV" release date has been pushed back again, a source confirms to Billboard.com. The highly anticipated set will now hit stores on Aug. 29, over two months after its last announced release date of June 21.

"Tha Carter IV's" arrival has been rescheduled multiple times: Lil Wayne eyed a spring release at the beginning of the year, and in March, he announced that "Tha Carter IV" drop on May 16. Three singles have already been released from the set, with the last one, the slow jam "How To Love,"  hitting the web last Thursday. The track debuts at No. 60 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs this week, while previous singles "6 Foot 7 Foot" and "John" peaked at Nos. 2 and 19, respectively.
