CBS Makes Changes on Talker in Houston

July 1, 2011

After the holiday, Michael Smerconish and The Schnitt Show will be added to Talk 650 in Houston. The station will also add CBS News headlines at the top of every hour. Michael Smerconish debuts Tuesday from 11:00am-2:00pm.  He will be followed by The Schnitt Show weekday afternoons from 2:00?5:00pm.  The conservative Schnitt presents news, political commentary, lifestyle and pop-culture with a cynical and comedic skew.

?This lineup exudes energy and the hosts that we have brought on bring a fresh perspective,? says Gavin Spittle, Talk 650 Program Director.  ?I love the sound of our lineup. It?s aggressive, fast paced and brings Houstonians information from a new generation of hosts that dive into issues that are affecting us every day.?
