March 21, 2012: Entravision Communications makes a deal to syndicate El Vacilon de Mandril, featuring Ricardo Sanchez. The show, currently heard on nine Entravision "La Tricolor" Regiona Mexican outlets and on Spanish Broadcasting System stations in two markets, will be sold on a network basis exclusively by LER, an Entravision company.
"The growth of the Hispanic population in recent years has resulted in a greater need for Spanish-language programming that is both entertaining and family-friendly," Entravision Radio Division President Jeffery Liberman said. "We believe that El Vacilon del Mandril is among our strongest radio programs and are thrilled to partner with our national sales team, LER, to syndicate the program to allow more advertisers to successfully reach their target audiences."
El Vacilon de Mandril, with Ricardo Sanchez -- a.k.a. "El Mandril" (The Baboon) -- features a blend of music and lifestyle features, including sports, news, legal advice, and interviews with Latin music artists.
