Cox Media Group Ohio has named Nick Roberts to the position of vice president of marketing for the company. Roberts will oversee the strategic marketing activities of CMG Ohio?s integrated brands, drive product development and accelerate media platform convergence. CMG Ohio consists of the Dayton Daily News, Hamilton JournalNews, Springfield News-Sun, and The Middletown Journal daily newspapers, the weekly Oxford Press, and Today?s Pulse weekly newspapers, ActiveDayton.com, Skywrighter, DaytonB2B and SpringfieldB2B, WHIO-TV, WHIO AM-FM, K99.1FM and 95.3 The Eagle.
Since joining the company in 1997, Roberts has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility. In his most recent position, Roberts served as both regional director of programming for CMG?s Ohio and Louisville radio stations and the Radio News-Talk-Sports Format Leader for Cox Media Group nationwide. Roberts replaces Donna Hall, who was recently promoted to Group Vice President at Cox Media in Atlanta.
