Brown passed away early this morning after a long battle with cancer. Brown was a continuous sports voice at Newsradio 780 and 105.9 FM for 25 years, starting in 1988, and having to leave the air last fall to fight his battle with cancer. CBS Chicago Market Manager Rod Zimmerman said, Brown was the consummate professional, a polished broadcaster and a great teammate. "He was always willing to go above and beyond to get the story.
