Gary Shapiro is the president and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association. He will be one of the keynote speakers at the second DASH Connected Car Conference, to be held in Detroit, October 15-16, 2014. He is an industry leader, having successfully led key initiatives including the transition to HDTV and protecting home recording rights as chairman of the Home Recording Rights Coalition. He's been the recipient of numerous awards, including the IAEE Pinnacle Award, and wrote the New York Times best-sellers "Ninja Innovation: The Ten Killer Strategies of the World's Most Successful Businesses" and "The Comeback: How Innovation Will Restore the American Dream."
