Fox2Now St. Louis reports the death of Lou "Fatha" Thimes at the age of 85. Thimes was a St. Louis radio legend, logging over 50 years in the radio industry, and had recently fallen ill. He started his radio career in 1952 in Okinawa. He landed in St. Louis four years later working on KXLW, KWK, and KADI. Most St. Louis listeners will remember him best from the many years he worked at KATZ-AM playing blues and gospel music.
