Felton worked in radio for four decades. His final stop was in Toledo at WRQN-FM 93.5, WRVF-FM 101.5, and WCWA until his retirement from WRQN in 2008. The Toledo Blade reports Felton died of cancer. He was still active, after his retirement, doing voice-work in commercials and political ads.
