The Nebraska Rural Radio Association, subject to FCC approval, is purchasing KAMI-AM (1580) from Bott Radio Network of Overland Park, Kansas. The station is now playing Christmas music and on December 29th KAMI will flip to a classic country format. The NRRA is owned by over 4,000 Nebraska farmers and ranchers. Other stations the organization owns include KRVN AM and FM in Lexington, KNEB AM and FM in Scottsbluff and KTIC AM and FM in West Point.
