Moody Bible Institute's KMBI-AM in Spokane will begin airing the Spanish-language version of its Christian format, effective January 5, reports the Spokane Spokesman.
It'll be the first Spanish-language station in Eastern Washington, the paper reports, quoting Station Manager Joe Gonzalez: "The Spanish community is continuing to grow in the area. There is no Spanish station for the Spanish community at all."
Gonzalez also said that he'd like to air local programming on the MBI station and is already in touch with local pastors
