Since May of 2008 Don Benson has been the president and CEO of Lincoln Financial Media, responsible for the operations of the company's radio stations. When Entercom takes over the company, Benson will not be staying on. He'll actually be transitioning out in mid-January, which is when Entercom is expected to start running the Lincoln stations. Benson was appointed president of the LFM radio division in 2005. He has worked for Lincoln for over 25 years, including time with previous owner Jefferson-Pilot. He's been on Radio Ink's 40 Most Powerful People in Radio list for 10 years, he's currently the Radio Board chair on the NAB, he's on the RAB board, and was also the chairman of the Arbitron Advisory Council. Don Benson is also one of the most well-liked people in all of radio.
