Talker Tom Becka says he's out of a job because his contract was not renewed after two years on Omaha's 1290 AM KOIL. In a recording on his website, Becka said he signed a bad contract just to get back to Omaha, where he wanted to be. And he said with two weeks left to go on his contract the radio station informed him they were not going to renew. He said he's going to keep podcasting as a hobby and he needs a gig, whether its in radio or not. There was no severance pay in his contract.
