This move explains the Don Martin promotion announced early Monday at iHeartMedia. Bruce Gilbert (pictured) is leaving iHeartMedia to work for Cumulus in a newly-created role of Senior Vice President of Sports. Gilbert was Senior Vice President of Sports Operations at iHeartMedia's FOX Sports Radio. Gilbert will lead the curation, development and execution of all sports content initiatives and will oversee the direction of all of Cumulus' sports stations. Corporate Program Director for sports Jim Mahanay will now report to Gilbert.
