A broadcasting fixture in the state of Texas, McReynolds was the Farm and Ranch Director at Newsradio 1200 WOAI for fifty years, greeting people across the southern half of the state and beyond with his trademark greeting, "Howdy, friends." He did the Farm and Ranch program at 5AM daily and also an hour long agricultural show during the day until he retired 1997 when he was 76 years old. Read more about McReynolds at the WOAI website.
