Small and medium-sized businesses in the retail industry continue to believe they need to spend more of their advertising budgets on digital media. A new report from BIA/Kelsey called, "Retail SMBs - Advertising & Marketing Trends," says retail businesses planned to spend 43 percent of their total ad budget on digital media in the next 12 months. Social media marketing, search and email marketing were the top priorities for advertising and promotion in the 12 months following the survey.
