Veteran Montana broadcaster Dave Wilson passed away Sunday following a long-time battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Wilson's specialty was "classic country" and Western swing. He began selling radio at KUDI in 1968. His desire to be on the air took him to KMON where he was hired part time in 1969, then full time in 1970. Soon Dave took on mornings and in 1976 he was named "The Most Listened to Announcer in Montana." A service will be held this Sunday. More from KRTV.com.
