When some in radio exit their position, it is said they are "on the beach." Not veteran programmer Dave Shakes... He says he is "on the hunt." After over three years as PD of KOOL/Phoenix, Shakes has left the building. On his personal website he wrote: "I've parted ways with CBS Radio's KOOL-FM Phoenix, and I'm on the hunt for my next creative adventure." CBS Radio Phoenix VP of Programming Tim Richards will now oversee KOOL.
