The Chicagoland Radio and Media Blog notes a new book is being written by Frank Sennett about WLUP's "Disco Demolition Night." The promotion, that caused the second game of a doubleheader at Comisky Park to be canceled, is considered to be one of the greatest radio promotions of all time. It took place on July 12, 1979. Sennett is the former president of Time Out Chicago. You can watch it HERE
