In the midst of the uproar over Rolling Stone magazine's decision to put a glamor shot of the surviving Boston Marathon bomber on its cover, WBOS/Boston is offering to "buy back" subscribers' copies of the issue for concert tickets. Subscribers can bring a copy of the August 1 issue with a subscription mailing label attached to the station and in return get a random pair of concert tickets. WBOS then plans to mail all the "bought back" copies to Rolling Stone.
The station's Facebook page says, "Help us make it a BIG box by sharing this."
