reedmeganIndustry Mourns Former WILV, Chicago Personality Megan Reed.  Longtime Chicago radio personality Megan Reed has succumbed to her battle with cancer.  She died on Sunday (2/14) at the age of 52.  Reed left her midday show at Hubbard Radio's adult contemporary WILV – now WSHE – in September of 2014 to focus on her cancer battle.  Read Chicago media writer Robert Feder's story about Reed and her career here.

NashGuitarPull16NASH FM 103.3's Sold Out 'Guitar Pull' Wows Audience.  Last Thursday, Cumulus Nashville's country WKDF "NASH FM 103.3" hosted the inaugural "Guitar Pull" at Nashville's 3rd and Lindsley.  The standing-room-only crowd witnessed performances from Kane Brown, Brooke Eden, Chuck Wicks from "America's Morning Show," Clare Dunn, Kip Moore and David Nail.  The artists shared their hit songs, backed by the stories behind the songs.  Blair Garner and Kelly Ford from "America's Morning Show" hosted the sold out event.  Pictured here are (from l-r) are: UMG recording artist David Nail, RCA recording artist Kane Brown, Kelly Ford, UMG recording artist Clare Dunn, Blair Garner, Red Bow recording artist Brooke Eden, UMG recording artist Kip Moore and Chuck Wicks.
