Nielsen MeterPPM Data – Part Three. January 2016 ratings information has been released for Portland, Charlotte, Pittsburgh, Sacramento, San Antonio, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Kansas City, Orlando, and Columbus. Nielsen Audio's January 2016 survey period covered December 31 – January 27. RadioInfo managing editor Mike Kinosian (Kinosian@RadioInfo.com) provides his "Takeaways" from these 12-PPM markets.
 
TWELVE TAKEAWAYS
 
1) Portland – In some ways, the January sweep is radio's version of wealth redistribution and several Portland stations are taking KLTHadvantage of nearly 12 full-shares up for grabs. On the heels of establishing the record for loftiest 6+-PPM share (21.4) in any ratings sweep, iHeartMedia adult contemporary KKCW "K-103" suffers the inevitable fall and it's by -11.9 to 9.5 (6+). Even so, "K-103" is #1 for the 19th time in the last 21 ratings periods. Co-owned KLTH "The Eagle – Classic Hits" puts up a stunning +1.7 (5.3 – 7.0, 6+) and moves from aKWJJ second-place tie to sole possession of the runner-up slot. It is the highest 6+-share for "The Eagle" since June 2014 (7.3). Within the Entercom cluster, country-formatted KWJJ "The Wolf" regains most of the 2.1 shares it lost in the "Holiday" report by matching the +1.7 of "The Eagle" (7.2 – 5.1 – 6.8, 6+); "The Wolf" climbs from fourth to third. Prior to December's -2.1, "The Wolf" enjoyed four successive positive trends (7.0 – 8.2 – 8.3 – 8.7 – 9.3, 6+) for a combined +2.3. Its hot AC cluster-mate, KRSK "The Buzz," regroups from a -.9 with a +.7 (5.2 – 4.3 – 5.0, 6+) to advance from seventh to fourth. Meanwhile, adult hits and alternative siblings KYCH "Charlie" (3.3, #13, 6+) and KNRK (3.1, #14, 6+) each improve by +.6, with the latter regaining the six-tenths it lost in "Holiday" 2015; "Charlie" was a combined -1.7 in the two previous sweeps. Also improving by six-tenths are public KQAC "All Classical Portland" – which (like KNRK) dropped six-tenths in "Holiday" (3.4 – 2.8 – 3.4, #11 to #13, 6+) and Salem Media Group contemporary Christian KFIS "The Fish" (2.5 – 3.1, #17 to #14). Leading up to the "Holiday" report KQAC notched four straight up-trends producing a cumulative +1.2 (2.2 – 2.3 – 2.4 – 2.9 – 3.4, 6+). Tied for fourth with KWJJ in the "Holiday" sweep, Alpha Media's KBFF "Live 95-5" stumbles by eight-tenths (5.1 – 4.3, 6+), dropping to sixth. Co-owned country KUPL "The Bull" has its third straight monthly without an increase including a -1.4 in "Holiday" 2015 (5.6 – 4.8 – 3.4 – 3.4, 6+), but actually climbs from #12 to #11; "The Bull" had successive gains of four-tenths in October and November before December's -.8. The station KLTH tied in the "Holiday" report – Oregon Public Broadcasting's KOPB – disappears in January; KOPB had been down or flat the past four monthlies (6.7 – 6.4 – 6.0 – 6.0 – 5.3, 6+).
 
2) Charlotte – Undaunted by plummeting by a combined -2.7 (6+) in the last two ratings periods, Beasley Media GroupWSOCowned WSOC "Country's Greatest Hits" roars back with an eye-popping +2.5 (8.8 – 7.5 – 6.1 – 8.6, 6+) to advance from second to first. Departing the lead position and skidding to seventh is its adult contemporary cluster-mate WKQC "K-104.7," which has its 6+-share evaporate by roughly 64% (13.2 – 4.7, -8.5). Without anWRFX increase in the last five monthlies (7.0 – 6.4 – 6.3 – 6.3 – 6.1 – 5.7, 6+), iHeartMedia classic rocker WRFX "The Fox" completely erases the combined -1.3 with a +1.4 to 7.1, rocketing from fifth to second. Similarly, adult hits sibling WLKO "The Lake" notches a +.7 to 4.4 (ninth to eighth), thus curtailing its string of five consecutive down or flat trends (5.6 – 4.9 – 4.7 – 4.3 – 4.3 – 3.7, 6+); "The Lake" was a combined -1.9 since August. Improving by six-tenths each are iHeartMedia CHR WHQC "Channel 96-1" (3.8 – 4.4, unchanged at #8) and Greater Media talk outlet WBT (3.1 – 3.7, #13 to a three-way tie at #10). Meanwhile, iHeartMedia's WEND "The End" (3.0, #15 to #13) and Beasley's WFNZ "The Fan" (1.6, #18 to #16) gain one-half share each. Prior to a -.6 in the "Holiday" sweep, "The Fan" did not have a decrease in the previous 10 ratings periods (.9 – .9 – .9 – 1.1 – 1.1 – 1.1 – 1.1 – 1.3 – 1.6 – 1.7 – 1.7, 6+). While steady at #4, Beasley Media Group urban AC WBAV "V-101.9" is off by six-tenths (5.8 – 5.2, 6+).
 
3) Pittsburgh – A -1.8 in the "Holiday" report dropped KDKA-AM to 6.6, its lowest 6+-share since last August (6.1). The CBS Radio KDKA-AMtalker bounces back though with a massive +2.2 to 8.8 as it marches from fourth to second. Gaining exactly half as much is sports cluster-mate KDKA-FM (6.4, +1.1, 6+), although a +1.1 is more than sufficient for "The Fan" (steady at #6) to halt three consecutive down monthlies (10.1 – 6.5 – 5.9 – 5.3, 6+). Remaining at #7, co-KDKA-FMowned hot AC WBZZ "Star 100.7" erases a -.6 with a +.7 (4.9 – 4.3 – 5.0, 6+). Following four straight declines (4.9 – 4.6 – 4.5 – 4.0 – 3.9, 6+), country sibling WDSY "Y-108" improves by six-tenths to 4.5 (6+) and climbs from ninth to eighth. Displaying one-half share increases are Steel City Media adult hits WRRK "Bob-FM" (7.1 – 7.6, but dropping from #3 to #4, 6+) and iHeartMedia CHR WKST "Kiss" (6.0 – 6.5, steady at #5, 6+). Before a -1.6 in the "Holiday" report, "Bob" had three straight gains which produced a +2.0 (6.7 – 7.7 – 8.5 – 8.7, 6+); "Kiss" is coming off a -.7. With a +5.8 in "Holiday" 2015, WWSW applied the brakes to four straight decreases for a combined -2.4 (10.8 – 10.1 – 9.3 – 8.9 – 8.4, 6+) and it progressed to #1. The iHeartMedia classic hits-oldies outlet though regresses by -6.3 (14.2 – 7.9, 6+) and stumbles to third. Rock sibling WDVE (9.6 – 9.7, +.1, 6+) replaces "3WS" at #1. Only 12 Pittsburgh stations appear in print; absent is public outlet WESA, which had finished at #12 the past 18 sweeps.
 
4) Sacramento – Following four successive impressive gains that totaled a cumulative +7.2 (4.5 – 5.5 – 5.9 – 6.4 – 11.7, 6+), CBS KHTKRadio adult contemporary KYMX "Mix 96" falters by -2.7 to 9.0, but remains at #1. With the Sacramento Kings roughly 26 games out of first-place, it is highly unlikely January's uptick by two local all-sports outlets is attributable to that NBA team's won-lost record. Nonetheless, CBS Radio's KHTK "Sports 1140" improves by nine-tenths (1.5 – 2.4, #18 to #17), while Entercom-owned KCTC "ESPN Radio 1320″ gains one-halfKSTE share (1.2 – 1.7, #20 to #21). Elsewhere in the spoken-word arena, iHeartMedia talker KSTE matches "Sports 1140" by dialing up a +.9 of its own (3.1 – 4.0, 6+), thus ending three straight monthlies without an increase (2.8 – 2.8 – 2.4 – 2.1, 6+); KSTE climbs from #16 to #13. Owing to a +.7 to 2.2 (6+), Entravision country KNTY pulls the plug on four successive downward trends (2.6 – 2.1 – 1.9 – 1.8 – 1.5, 6+), but "The Wolf" remains at #18. Up or flat the past four sweeps (2.9 – 3.1 – 3.1 – 3.8 – 4.0, 6+), rhythmic CHR sibling KHHM "Hot 103.5" regresses by one-half share to 3.5 (sixth to ninth, 6+). Included among stations in California's state capital bettering themselves by one-half share (6+) are CBS Radio's KNCI "New Country 105.1" (4.2, eighth to fifth); Entercom alternative KKDO "Radio 94-7" (3.8); and public KXJZ (3.8). Tied at #11 in the "Holiday" sweep, KKDO and KXJZ are now locked at #6. "New Country" had not had an increase since September (5.1 – 4.7 – 4.7 – 4.7 – 3.7, 6+). In back-to-back sweeps, KUDL "Star 102.5" notched a cumulative gain of +3.1, but the Entercom hot AC forfeits all of it (2.5 – 3.0 – 5.6 – 2.5, -3.1, 6+) and freefalls from #4 all the way to #16. Curtailing a string of three straight negative trends (4.5 – 4.4 – 4.1 – 3.4, 6+), co-owned KRXQ "98 Rock" adds one-tenth to 3.5 (6+) and inches up from tenth to ninth.
 
5) San Antonio – A mixed bag surrounds iHeartMedia's KQXT call letters. Off by one-half share in "Holiday" 2015, KQXT-HD3 KONO-FManswers back with an astonishing +1.7 to double its "Holiday" stat (2.2 – 1.7 – 3.4, 6+), catapulting from #19 to #12. Conversely, adult contemporary KQXT-FM "Q-101.9" is off by nearly six full-shares (4.9 – 6.1 – 10.6 – 4.7, -5.9, 6+) and spirals from first toKCYY seventh. Taking over at the top is Cox Media Group classic hits-oldies KONO-FM "San Antonio's Greatest Hits" which nearly recoups its -.7 in "Holiday" 2015 (8.5 – 7.8 – 8.4, +.6, 6+). Prior to dropping from first to second in the "Holiday" sweep, KONO-FM was #1 in 17 of the previous 22 sweeps. Notching increases of +1.2 are country cluster-mate KCYY "Y-100 (5.8 – 7.0, third to second, 6+) and Alpha Media regional Mexican KSAH (1.7 – 2.9, #19 to #15, 6+). Even though it was without an increase in the past five sweeps, Univision regional Mexican KROM only had a combined loss of six-tenths (4.7 – 4.7 – 4.2 – 4.1 – 4.1 – 4.1, 6+). With a +.9 to 5.0 (6+), "Inicio 92.9" zooms from ninth to fifth. Staying in the regional Mexican theme, Alpha Media's KLEY gains one-half share (1.2 – 1.7, 6+) and checks in at #19. Frozen on 4.8 (6+) in November and December, WOAI decreased by eight-tenths in "Holiday" but the iHeartMedia talker recaptures it (4.8 – 4.0 – 4.8, 6+) and jumps from tenth to sixth. Owing to a one-half share gain (4.2 – 4.7, 6+), Univision rhythmic CHR KBBT "The Beat" moves from eighth to seventh. Two different streaks come to an end. A +.4 to 1.5 (6+) enables Cox Media Group's KKYX "Country Legends" (unchanged at #22) to halt three straight declines for a cumulative -1.4 (2.5 – 2.4 – 1.6 – 1.1, 6+); conversely, a -.2 to 1.7 (6+) curtails the string of up or flat sweeps for Texas Public Radio classical outlet KPAC (#18 to #19) at three (1.5 – 1.5 – 1.8 – 1.9, 6+).
 
6) Cincinnati – Rebounding from a -1.4, Cumulus Media's WGRR registers a +1.7 and shifts from third back to second (8.2 – WGRR6.8 – 8.5, 6+). Co-owned adult contemporary WRRM "Warm 98" surrenders -4.7 (11.9 – 7.2, 6+) and tumbles from first to third. Taking its place at the top is iHeartMedia heritage talker WLW, which registers its fourth straight increase (10.1 – 10.2 – 10.7 – 11.3 – 11.7, 6+) and is in double-digits (6+) for the 24th successive sweep. Without a gain in the last four sweeps (7.2 – 6.8 – 6.8 – 6.7 – 6.2, 6+), HubbardWLW Broadcasting hot AC WKRQ "Q-102" (steady at #4) notches a +.8 to 7.0 (6+); also improving by eight-tenths is classical WGUC (2.5 – 3.3, unchanged at #12, 6+). Seven-tenths proves to be lucky for iHeartMedia CHR and talk siblings WKFS "Kiss" (3.8 – 4.5, +.7, #10 to #7, 6+) and WKRC (3.6, +.7, unchanged at #11, 6+). WKRC had been down or flat the past four monthlies (4.1 – 3.6 – 3.3 – 2.9 – 2.9, 6+). Picking up one-half share each are public WVXU (2.9, #14 to #13, 6+); Radio One urban-rhythmic oldies WOSL "Old School 100.3" (2.5, steady at #15); and iHeartMedia alternative WEBN-HD2 (1.3, unchanged at #19). This is the first increase in the last four sweeps for both WOSL (3.2 – 2.9 – 2.5 – 2.4 – 2.0, 6+), and WEBN-HD2 (1.1 – 1.0 – 1.0 – 1.0 – .8, 6+). Although flat at #5, Hubbard country outlet WUBE is up two-tenths to 6.1 (6+), thus "B-105" puts an end to four consecutive negative trends for a combined -3.6 (9.5 – 9.3 – 8.5 – 7.3 – 5.9, 6+). This is the third successive decline for Cumulus Media classic rocker WOFX "The Fox" (6.0 – 5.7 – 4.7 – 4.1, 6+), which is a combined -1.9 in that stretch; "The Fox" falls from sixth to ninth. Climbing from seventh to sixth, Hubbard rhythmic hot AC WREW "Mix 94.9" is nonetheless down or flat for the fourth straight time (5.4 – 5.2 – 5.2 – 4.6 – 4.6, 6+).
 
7) Cleveland – After four consecutive sweeps without a gain yielding a combined -1.6 (8.4 – 7.9 – 7.6 – 7.6 – 6.8, 6+) WZAK WZAKhangs out a +1.3 to 8.1 (6+). The Radio One urban AC progresses from fourth to #2, where it is tied with CBS Radio adult contemporary WDOK "Star 102" (12.4 – 8.1, -4.3, 6+), which was #1 in the "Holiday" report. Despite declining by eight-tenths (12.3 – 11.5, 6+), iHeartMedia classic hits-oldies WMJI returns to #1. It occupied the top spot for eight straight months before giving way to "Star"WKRK in "Holiday" 2015. Dating back to last April, fluctuations for "Cleveland's Greatest Hits" have been -2.2; +.1; +1.1; +1.0; -.2; +.4; -1.3; +1.4; -1.8; +1.9; and now -.8. The 12.3 share (6+) it recorded in "Holiday" 2015 is its best ever under PPM methodology. The third straight gain by Ideastream noncommercial WCPN (steady at #13) is a +1.1 (2.4 – 2.6 – 2.7 – 3.8, 6+). Applying the brakes to three straight downward trends (5.0 – 4.9 – 4.4 – 4.1, 6+), CBS Radio-owned WKRK trots out a +.8 to 4.9 (6+) as "The Fan" enters the top ten (#11 to #8). Up by seven-tenths and six-tenths, respectively, are iHeartMedia talk and country cluster-mates WTAM (4.9 – 5.6, eighth to seventh, 6+) and WGAR (5.1 – 5.7, unchanged at #6, 6+). In the "Holiday" report, WGAR was -2.1 and WTAM was off by one-half share. Entering January 2016, urban contemporary sibling WENZ was down or flat the past four ratings periods (5.4 – 5.2 – 5.2 – 4.8 – 4.3, 6+), but "Z-107.9" is +.4 to 4.7 and remains at #10.
 
8) Salt Lake City – A mere two-tenths of a share separates this market's top three stations. The streak of monthlies without an KBZNincrease for Capital Broadcasting hot AC KBZN "Now 97.7" and iHeartMedia classic hits-oldies KODJ "Salt Lake's Greatest Hits" ends at seven. Inching up from third to second "Now 97.7" (6.8, +1.1, 6+) was a combined -2.4 in that stretch (8.1 – 7.8 – 7.6 – 7.3 – 7.0 – 6.8 – 6.6 – 5.7, 6+), while "Salt Lake's Greatest Hits" (4.8, +1.9, #13 to #7) was off by over three full-shares (6.3 – 6.2 – 5.7 – 5.7 – 5.3 – 5.0 – 4.5 – 2.9, 6+). Down or flat the past six ratings periods inKODJ which its 6+-share was cut by 75% (2.4 – 2.2 – 2.2 – 1.8 – 1.2 – 1.1 – .6, 6+), KSOP-AM rebounds with a strong +1.4 to 2.0, as "Classic Country 1370" moves from #28 to a three-way tie at #17. After three successive up or flat trends (4.2 – 4.2 – 4.8 – 4.9, 6+), Bonneville-owned KRSP surrendered -1.2 in "Holiday" 2015 but "Utah's Classic 103.5 The Arrow" answers back with a rousing +1.7 (4.9 – 3.7 – 5.4, 6+), progressing from ninth to fifth. On the other hand, co-owned adult contemporary KSFI "FM 100.3" not only surrenders the top spot to talk sibling KSL (6.6 – 6.9, +.3) but regresses by nearly nine full-shares, dropping to third ( 6.7, -8.9, 6+). Entering the January sweep, KSFI was trending 6.0 – 6.4 – 8.5 – 15.6 (6+). Three straight increases propelled KLO Broadcasting adult contemporary KSQN from .5 to 2.8 (October 2015 to "Holiday" 2015, 6+), but "Sunny 103" forfeits two full-shares to .8 as it sinks from #14 to #26. A rare PPM-market adult contemporary outlet making a gain – and a hefty one at that (1.6 – 2.5, +.9, 6+) – Cumulus Media's KBEE "B-98.7" zooms from #19 to #15. Shaking loose from three straight months at 1.6 (6+), "B-98.7" notched a +.7 in December, but was -.7 in "Holiday." It is a very similar story for Broadway Media adult hits KYMV "Rewind 100.7" (#20 to #16) which – like "B-98.7" – slumped by seven-tenths in "Holiday" only to post a +.9 in January (2.2 – 1.5 – 2.4, 6+). "Rewind" was up or flat the previous three sweeps (1.7 – 1.9 – 2.2 – 2.2, 6+). Steady at #4, iHeartMedia talker KNRS improves by eight-tenths (5.0 – 5.8, 6+), while cluster-mate KAAZ "Rock 106.7" gains six-tenths (2.7 – 3.3, #16 to #13). Meanwhile, Cumulus-owned KBER "Utah's Rock Station" improves by one-half share (1.5 – 2.0, 6+) and climbs from #20 to a three-way tie at #17. Down or flat for the fourth successive time, (4.7 – 4.4 – 4.0 – 3.4 – 3.4, 6+), Broadway Media alternative KXRK "X-96" moves from #11 to #12.
 
9) Las Vegas – Shaking off a one full-share decline, Beasley Media Group's KCYE "The Coyote" doubles its "Holiday" 2015 KCYEstat (2.8 – 1.8 – 3.6, +1.8, 6+) and rockets from #19 to #9, where it catches country format rival – iHeartMedia-owned KWNR "The Bull," which is flat. Hot AC sibling KVGS "Star 107.9" regains the one-half share it lost in "Holiday" (3.2 – 2.7 – 3.2, 6+) and climbs from #13 to #11.KKLZ Notwithstanding that it falters by nearly eight full-shares (15.7 – 7.8, 6+), iHeartMedia adult contemporary KSNE "Sunny 106.5" is #1 for the 17th straight time. "Sunny" followed three successive down trends with back-to-back gains of +2.2 in December and +5.1 "Holiday" 2015 (9.6 – 9.4 – 8.9 – 8.4 – 10.6 – 15.7, 6+). Posting gains of one full-share each are Beasley Media Group classic hits-oldies KKLZ (6.0, third to second, 6+) and Lotus Communications Spanish adult hits KWID "La Buena 101.9" (3.6 – 4.6, eighth to fifth, 6+). Off by seven-tenths in December, KKLZ declined by twice that much in "Holiday" (7.1 – 6.4 – 5.0, -1.4, 6+). While Entravision regional Mexican KQRT "La Tricolor 105.1" gains six-tenths and Lotus Communications' KOMP "92.3 The Rock Station" regresses by seven-tenths, the two stations are tied at #12 (2.7, 6+). KQRT had been off the past four sweeps (3.0 – 2.4 – 2.0 – 2.3 – 2.1, 6+). Over the course of four straight up or flat trends, Univision regional Mexican KISF (sixth to seventh) is a combined +1.4 (2.9 – 3.0 – 3.3 – 3.5 – 4.3 – 4.3, 6+). Debuting with a .5 in September, CBS Radio rhythmic hot AC KXQQ "Q-100.5" exploded by +2.3 to 2.8 in October; progressed to 4.5 in November; lost one-half share in December; and one full-share in "Holiday" 2015. Ranked #11 in "Holiday" with a 3.0 (6+), "Q-100.5" does not appear in the January report.
 
10) Kansas City – A change at the top involves Cumulus Media siblings: KCMO-FM "Kansas City's Greatest Hits" (8.9 – 5.2, -3.7, KCFXfirst to fourth) gives way to classic rocker KCFX "The Fox" (7.2 – 7.6, +.4 6+). Down or flat for seven straight sweeps (4.6 – 3.8 – 3.5 – 3.2 – 3.0 – 2.2 – 2.2 – 2.2, 6+), KCKC "KC-102.1" improved by a combined +5.4 in December and "Holiday" 2015; however, the Steel City MediaKMXV adult contemporary outlet diminishes by more than 50% (7.6 – 3.3, -4.3, 6+), spiraling from #2 to #15. Owing to a +1.1 (5.3 – 6.4, 6+) its CHR cluster-mate KMXV "Mix 93.3" progresses from fourth to second. Co-owned KFKF "Country 94.1" regains the seven-tenths it lost in "Holiday" (4.6 – 3.9 – 4.6, 6+), bumping up from tenth to eighth, while Entercom talker KMBZ-FM – down by one-half share in "Holiday" also improves by seven-tenths (3.8 – 3.3 – 4.0, #14 to #10, 6+). Taking a significant hit after the World Series ended (5.3 – 2.9, -2.4, 6+), Union Broadcasting's WHB "Sports Radio 810" puts together back-to-back up-trends (2.9 – 3.1 – 3.6, 6+) and proceeds from #16 to #12.
 
11) Orlando – As we have been detailing the past three days and will continue in our fourth/final January 2016 ratings installment, WMMOthis sweep has been considerably kinder to numerous stations compared to the "Holiday" 2015 survey period. Sure to concur are Cox Media Group's WMMO and iHeartMedia CHR WXXL "XL-106.7," whose recent ratings profiles are quite similar. WMMO reboundsWXXL from a -1.2 with a robust +2.3 (5.6 – 4.4 – 6.7, 6+), while "XL-106.7" bounces back from a -1.1 with an identical +2.3 (6.8 – 5.7 – 8.0, 6+). Classic rock WMMO moves from eighth to fourth and "XL-106.7" climbs from fifth to third. Tied with WMMO at #8 in the "Holiday" report, iHeartMedia-owned WJRR "Orlando's Rock Station" posts a +1.6 to 6.0 (6+) and jumps to sixth. Doubling the seven-tenths it gained in "Holiday," Spanish tropical cluster-mate WRUM "Rumba" (7.2 – 7.9 – 9.3, +1.4, 6+) advances from the runner-up spot to #1, where it dislodges co-owned adult contemporary WMGF "Magic 107.7" (12.9 – 8.2, 6+) which takes the vacancy at #2. Recent (6+) trending for "Magic" includes +.5 in October; -1.0 in November; +1.6 in December; +5.2 in "Holiday" 2015; and -4.7 in January. Following five straight downward trends resulting in a net loss of -2.3 (5.1 – 4.8 – 4.6 – 4.3 – 3.3 – 2.8, 6+), WTKS "Real Radio 104.1" busts out a +1.2 to 4.0 and improves from #13 to #11. The cumulative +.8 (6+) CBS Radio hot AC WOMX accumulated in November and December was wiped out in "Holiday" 2015. "Mix 105.1," however, adds one full share in January (5.4 – 6.0 – 6.2 – 5.4 – 6.4, 6+) to advance from sixth to fifth. Not only does WODC lose roughly 70% of its 6+-share (11.5 – 3.5, -8.0, 6+) it plummets from first to ninth. Before December's +2.6, WODC had six successive negative trends for a cumulative -1.4 (5.4 – 5.2 – 5.0 – 4.7 – 4.4 – 4.2 – 4.0, 6+). On the strength of a +.6 (3.1 – 3.7, 6+), Radio One's WCKX "Power 107.5" enters the top ten (#11 to #8). Off by a combined -3.1 since November (4.6 – 3.1 – 1.5, 6+), urban AC cluster-mate WXMG "Magic" logs a one-half share gain to 2.0 and jumps from #14 to #11. Also improving by one-half share and advancing from seventh to fifth is RadiOhio-owned sports outlet WBNS-FM "The Fan" (5.1, 6+). Prior to its -1.9 in the "Holiday" report (6.5 – 4.6, 6+), "The Fan" registered positive trends for five consecutive monthlies producing a combined +2.9 (3.6 – 4.1 – 4.9 – 6.3 – 6.4 – 6.5, 6+).
