Beasley's two rock stations in Fort Myers are making major changes. Long-time classic rock station, 96 K-Rock is flipping to all talk as ?Zito & Garrett? will take over the midday slot ? 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. "Zito & Garret" were doing mornings on Beasley's new rock station 99X. They now follow ?Bubba the Love Sponge? on K-Rock. ?Stan & Haney? will keep their afternoon shift and syndicated shows take over after 6 p.m. K-Rock was mix of talk and music throughout the day, some shifts were more talk others had more music.
99X is no longer known under the ?New Rock? moniker. Rather it?s now dubbed ?Southwest Florida?s Rock Station.? The station will feature current and cutting edge rock, but mix in a deeper catalog including classic rock such as Metallica, Guns N? Roses and Stone Temple Pilots.
