The Country Radio Seminar is Nashville is only one month away. One of radio's most popular conventions brings radio executives, country music stars and PD's together for more than three days of education and entertainment. The country format is more popular than ever with new branded approaches from Cumulus (NASH-FM) and now Clear Channel's iHeartRadio Country Music Festival. This year L&L's Larry Wilson, a huge Country music fan, will be one of four people inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame. Also, Radio Ink will hand out awards to the Top 25 Country Program Directors in America. Bill Mayne is the Executive Director of the event, which is planned out a year in advance by Mayne, his staff and a very influential board of directors heavily involved in the country format. We spoke to Mayne at CRS 2014 and why radio people should attend. LISTEN HERE
