Several digital website are reporting that Apple is planning to offer ?locally targeted advertising? to users through iTunes Radio this year. One report from the website "The Information," says Apple will be working with ?broadcast radio stations? to increase its content but failed to strike a deal with Cumulus. It's expected that Apple will begin to offer more non-music content such as SportsCenter All Night, The Herd and Mike & Mike from ESPN. It's been previously reported that Apple was planning to introduce several local NPR stations.
