Greater Media made the announcement that PM Driver Drew Lane will not be renewing his contract with Detroit Sports 105.1 in Detroit. Lane has been on the air on the station since August of 2013. Prior to that, he was morning show co-host at WRIF-FM. The company issued the following statement: "Drew is a phenomenal talent and has been a valued member of the Greater Media family for over 21 years. Both sides regret an agreement could not be reached on the direction of the show moving forward. We are truly sorry to see him go and wish him all the best." In the interim, Midday Personality Matt Dery will serve as the fill-in host on the show.
