Most predictions have ad spending in the billions this upcoming political season. National CineMedia has announced it will not accept any political advertising dollars at any of its 1,600 theaters. They are being designated "politics-free zones." NCM's president of sales and marketing Cliff Marks told Adweek, "It's not an easy decision to forgo all that potential revenue but the company wants to keep its theaters free from the 'sea of negative ads' viewers will likely be inundated with over the next year."
