Greater Media Making Changes in Boston

June 16, 2011

Boston Herald writer Lauren Beckham Falcone (pictured) joins the Loren & Wally Morning Show on 105.7/WROR-FM starting Monday. Falcone replaces longtime WROR-FM morning show news personality Sue Cope, who recently moved with her family to Cleveland, Ohio. And 96.9 Boston Talks adds The Michael Smerconish Program to its daily lineup. Smerconish, a Philadelphia lawyer-turned-political commentator, can now be heard evenings 6-10. Smerconish is nationally syndicated in about fifty markets. He's the author of five books, two of them New York Times best sellers. He donated all author proceeds from three of those manuscripts to charity.

Lauren Beckham Falcone has been writing about everything from breaking news to entertainment to sports to politics for more than 15 years. An award-winning reporter and columnist for the Boston Herald, she credits her current success as a pop-culture commentator to watching too much TV as a kid and scouring the Internet too much as an adult. She lives in Canton with her husband, Dave, and their daughter, Lucy.
