CBS Detroit Raises Nearly $500K For St. Judes

WYCD in Detroit raised $454,987 during its annual "Cares For St. Jude Kids Radiothon". WYCD personalities Jack Shell and Coop vowed to shave their heads if the station hit $200,000 during their shift. WYCD listeners met the challenge and the boys are bald. Jack and Coop had their heads shaved in the lobby of WYCD immediately following their shift.

Over the past 12 years, WYCD listeners have helped Detroit's country music station raise over $6.1 million for the children being treated at St. Jude. Send your congrats to PD Tim Roberts tim.roberts@cbsradio.com for a job well done.
