Nearly $67 Million Salary for CBS' Moonves

In a new regulatory filing, CBS has revealed that CEO Leslie Moonves' 2013 compensation package totaled $66.93 Million. The Moonves package includes his base salary, stock grants and incentives. In 2012, Moonves was paid $62.16 and $69.9 million in 2011. In 2013, Moonves was paid $3.51 million as base salary, he received a $28.5 million bonus, $26.5 million as stock grants, option awards of $5.85 million, and all other compensations of $1.23 million and the change in pension value and NQDC earnings of $1.34 million. Moonves was co-president and co-chief operating officer of Viacom, the predecessor to CBS, from 2004 until the company split in 2005. Prior to that he held many executive positions at  CBS since 1995. The filing also showed Executive Chairman Sumner Redstone received $57.2 million in 2013.
