North Dakota Broadcaster Reaches Milestones
Jun 27th 2015, 16:07
Ralph Lockwood, a radio sports reporter and announcer in Williston, ND reached a pair of milestones in June. Earlier in the month he celebrated his 48th year of calling baseball games on the air. Even more impressive is that this month, he broadcast his 8,000th game. Asked when he thinks he might retire, Lockwood tells the Williston Herald that day is still at least two years away, saying: "In another couple of years, I'll be 70." When not calling games, Lockwood continues to be sports anchor for KEYZ/Williston.
