kinosianmikePPM Analysis: Classic Rock. RadioInfo managing editor Mike Kinosian presents the second of three format analyses for gold-based formats based on data from Nielsen Audio's October PPM survey.  Yesterday we looked at adult hits; today we turn our attention to classic rock.  Stations enjoying 6+ share increases from September to this month include Cumulus Media's KQRS, Minneapolis (6.2 to 7.1) and iHeartMedia's KFBW, Portland (3.1 to 3.9).  Stations that realized large 6+ share gains since last year's October PPM survey include Hubbard Radio's WDRV, Chicago (2.8 to 4.0), Cox Media Group's WMMO, Orlando (4.9 to 6.7), and iHeartMedia's WRFX, Charlotte (6.3 to 7.9).  "99.7 The Fox" is also one of only two classic rockers to rank #1 in its market, along with Entercom's KSEG, Sacramento "Eagle 96.9."  See Mike Kinosian's entire classic rock report here.
