Knight and Williams Promoted at Cumulus New Orleans.  Programming pro Talus Knight is upped to the operations manager role at Cumulus Media's New Orleans stations group.  Knight is program director for the cluster's hip hop KKND "Power 102.9" and rhythmic oldies KMEZ "Old School 106.7."  Cumulus regional viceknighttalus president Pat Galloway states, "Sometimes the best fits for your team are already on your team and this is exactly what happened in New Orleans with the promotion of program director Talus Knight.  Talus' positive attitude, knowledge of the market, ability to produce incredible concerts and events, willliamsshawnand leadership skills is exactly what we need in an operations manager."  At the same time, the company announces that air personality Shawn Williams is being promoted to assistant program director for country WRKN "NASH 92.3" and alternative WZRH "106.1 The Underground."  She will continue to be heard in afternoons on WRKN and in middays on WZRH.  About her new role, Williams comments, "I am beyond honored and thrilled to keep WRKN and WZRH thriving and progressing in our unique market.  We have an awesome team I am fortunate to collaborate with in continuing to build these brands in our community.  I'm excited to take on this role with Cumulus."
RadioInfo Career Moves.  Former alternative KDGE, Dallas personality Alan Ayo remains with iHeartMedia after KDGE's flip to adult contemporary last week.  He moves over to the company's rock KEGL "97.1 The Eagle" to host the midday show, bumping Big Rig to weekends…..In the Phoenix market, Hubbard Broadcasting's alternative KDKB "Alt AZ 93.3" lets go of midday personality Christy Taylor in a budget-related move…..Radio One names Kelly Mac program director for urban adult contemporary WTLC, Indianapolis and sister Gospel station WTLC-AM "The Light 1310 AM."  Mac was previously with Summit Media's urban AC WJMZ, Greenville, South Carolina "JAMZ 107.3" as midday personality.
