Clear Channel Gives Ivey More Responsibility

Ivey, previously Vice President of Programming for Los Angeles, will expand his responsibilities to include assistance with CHR programming and talent development across all of Clear Channel Radio and will also retain his role as Program Director of KIIS-FM and KHHT-FM. Clear Channel also says Robin Bertolucci has extended her contract as Program Director for KFI AM 640 and KTLK-AM 1150 in Los Angeles.

A native of Owensboro, Kentucky, Ivey started in radio as a disc jockey at WOMI in Owensboro, and came to Clear Channel through Pyramid Broadcasting at Rochester?s WPXY in 1990. He joined KIIS-FM in 2001 and is the station?s longest running program director. During his tenure, KIIS has become the most listened to radio station in Los Angeles every quarter since summer, 2004; rated the No.1 Billing Radio Station in America three consecutive years (2008-2010); and won the 2010 Marconi Radio Award as the Contemporary Hits Station of the Year. KIIS is also home to the popular Ryan Seacrest morning drive-time show, which is syndicated on more than 150 stations in North America.

Bertolucci started her radio career in 1987 as a Desk Assistant in the KGO newsroom and eventually became the station?s Executive Producer. In 1995 Bertolucci joined Clear Channel Radio and oversaw stations throughout the Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota markets. She has been with Clear Channel Radio Los Angeles since 2002 and has been a major contributor to KFI?s ratings success. Bertolucci?s continued role with the company reflects Clear Channel?s commitment to its programming talent and leadership.
