Dee was 79 and passed away yesterday after a battle with cancer. He worked at Townsquare's KKCL (KOOL 98) in Lubbock Texas. Dee was a staple of Lubbock radio for nearly five decades. Dee was born in Brooklyn and lived there until he was 17. He enlisted in the Airforce and was stationed at Reese Airforce Base. He started his broadcasting career with R.B. "Mac" McAlister in sales and went on the air for the first time in Littlefield Texas on KZZN. He's pictured here with his wife Diana.
