Have You Submitted Your Hispanic Broadcasters Nomination Yet?

Radio Ink Magazine will be hosting its 3rd Hispanic Broadcasting conference in San Diego March 21st and 22nd. During the show awards will be given out to the best Hispanic broadcasters in the country. Nominations are being accepted now. Radio Ink Executive Vice President Deborah Parenti said "the competition is heating up. There are some excellent Hispanic Broadcasters in our industry. We look forward to recognizing them in San Diego." Here are the categories:

Hispanic Radio station of the year.
General Manager of the year (markets 1-25 and 26 and up)
Sales Manager of the year (markets 1-25 and 26 and up)
Programmer of the year (markets 1-25 and 26 and up)
Personality of the year (markets 1-25 and 26 and up)
National Legacy Advertiser
Local legacy Advertiser

What happened to the "Immigration" topic. Did "Yes we can" change to "No se pudo?" Aren't those people still buying goods and services? do they still listen to Radio? Do their U.S. citizen kids listen to radio? Don't the kids buy things too? When you hold a sales meeting shouldn't all of the potential buyers be on the agenda?
