Emmis CEO Jeff Smulyan is featured in the Indianapolis Star in an article about leadership and success. Smulyan tells writer Jill Phillips that the best leaders, "Attract the best people, treat them well, and let them do their job. If you want people to go through walls for you, you have to go through more walls for them." Smulyan also says the perception of radio is that it has suffered and that's simply not reality.
