WestwoodOne announced it has signed a multi-year contract extension with The Weather Channel for ad sales representation. The renewal runs through 2016. The Weather Channel provides daily, customized cross-platform weather reports to radio stations, giving up-to-the-minute information on local weather or critical storm warnings. The Weather Channel also provides weather report information from the field during WestwoodOne's NFL broadcasts and weather information for all upcoming matchups around the league.
