Listeners Love Motel 6 Ads

The Motel 6 ads are classics, typically, if not always, ending with "We'll leave the light on for you." The results are in for WestwoodOne?s Super Bowl Audio Index, the first-ever consumer-driven index, which ranked the most creative audio commercials airing during WestwoodOne's Super Bowl XLVIII broadcast. Motel 6 earned the top spot in both the Listeners Choice and Media Choice categories. The other top four vote-getters were Tilted Kilt, Subway, Exergen, and Taco Bell.

Two weeks leading up to the big game, listeners were encouraged to vote for their favorite Super Bowl commercial across many of WestwoodOne's properties via an array of online and on-air promotions. Listeners were directed to www.westwoodone.com/vote, where each of the commercials was available for consumer voting from Thursday, January 30 through 12 midnight ET on February 2, 2014. 

The index was comprised of all commercials aired on the 700+ radio stations which broadcast WestwoodOne?s exclusive, national play-by-play coverage of Super Bowl XLVIII.
