Online audio is a very crowded space with everyone jockeyed for the best technology to please the fickle consumer. Does the Spotify purchase of The Echo Nest mean anything for iHeartRadio? You may recall back in September of 2011, Clear Channel announced The Echo Nest would be providing its technology to power iHeartRadio. Yesterday, after the Spotify purchase of The Echo Nest, Clear Channel had no comment.
