Big River Broadcasting says Andy Guida has taken over as the company?s Operations Manager and Program Director. In addition to overseeing the operation of 107.1 The River and 104.7 The Gator, Guida will now be tweaking the sound of the two stations. Guida says, ?With the direction country music has been going for the last several years, there is a huge market for that traditional country sound for which The Gator is known. We?ll be expanding the music library as well as putting on new features and shows, but the format will remain steady.?
Before accepting the position at Big River, Guida spent five years with First Natchez Radio Group where he served as News Director, Sports Director, and Production Director, as well as being an on-air personality and talk show host. He was also the Program Director for two of the group?s stations.
