Known on the radio as Jon Duane, Hellhake died Friday evening after a two-year battle with cancer. He would have turned 69 in two weeks. Hellhake started in radio in 1998 at KIDO-AM where he worked for ten years doing morning drive. He also worked at KPPL's Morning Zoo in denver for ten years but returned to his hometown of Boise.
