Speaking of Alternative. iHeartMedia flipped the switch on a translator at 104.5 in Quad Cities (near Davenport Iowa) launching ALT 104.5. SVP of Programming in the Quad Cities Jim O'Hara tells Radio Ink, "We wanted to create a new radio station totally unlike anything else in the Quad Cities, and ALT 104.5 certainly will be." The station will feature alternative bands such as Twenty One Pilots, Mumford & Sons, the Black Keys and Kings of Leon.
