Entercom Communications reports that net revenue rose 7 percent in the first quarter, to $80.8 million from $75.4 million in the same period last year, with Q1 2010 net income at $4.2 million (11 cents per diluted share.

FCC Disagrees On 'Third Way' Broadband Plan

FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski has unveiled what he calls a "third way" for the FCC to regulate broadband in light of the court ruling in Comcast v. FCC, by partially reclassifying broadband as a telecommunications service. But Republican FCC Commissioners Robert McDowell and Meredith Attwell Baker say the proposed approach is both overreaching and unnecessary.
